Strengthening endpoint backup skills just got easier for administrators who manage Code42 CrashPlan software. That’s because we restructured and significantly expanded Code42 University to make it more accessible, more comprehensive and a better value.
We recognize administrators can’t always get away from their jobs long enough to learn in a classroom setting. Beginning Jan. 1, instead of offering only instructor-led classroom courses, Code42 University also offers virtual instructor-led courses, as well as more than 50 progressive, self-paced eLearning courses. Administrators can now learn on demand, in bite-sized chunks that fit their schedules.
Another improvement is that we’ve packaged the courses into per-user annual subscriptions, which provides unlimited access to self-paced courses, allows for more predictable enterprise budgeting and provides greater value. There are two subscription levels, designed for varying administrator needs:
Additional benefits of the redesigned Code42 University include:
Comprehensive education at an affordable price
The average industry cost for software education is around $1,000 a day. So, the two weeks’ worth of content available with our All-Access Education Pass could cost organizations as much as $10,000 if purchased separately. We’re making all the content available for just $3,000, so price won’t be a barrier to increasing knowledge of our software and fully leveraging its capabilities.
Access to an ever-growing library and certification program
We’ll continually build on our course offerings to keep administrators current on important skills and information, such as best practices, new security features, or the latest use cases. Later in 2017, we’ll also add a Code42 Master Administrator Certificate program. Administrators who complete this set series of courses and lab exercises will receive professional recognition of their expertise.
The improved Code42 University is part of our renewed focus on education, which included the recent launch of Evolution16, our first global conference. We’re committed to helping our customers learn new skills and increase their knowledge of endpoint backup so they can get the highest value and utility from Code42 CrashPlan’s evolving features and functions.
