WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You are the interface between Code 42 and the rest of the world, so you are instrumental in building good rapport with and being an advocate for the customer. You will be transforming confusion into comprehension... fear into fandom. Working as part of a highly focused team, you will be managing chat, email and phone calls in a high volume environment. You will be doing a lot of writing, too. Clear, step-by-step, instructions with tact and discretion. You will also be working to streamline internal processes while dealing with an ever-increasing work load as Code 42's growth explodes. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are currently looking for a designer with 1-5 years of experience. We're a small marketing team, and due to the rapid growth of the company our workload is heavy and fast-paced. We need someone who is comfortable with production work but who can also create inspiring designs on their own and take them to completion. We need someone who can jump right in – we have a ton of work waiting for you!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

You will be working closely with our creative director as well as interacting with copywriters, front-end developers and sales. As an in-house marketing department, we deal with every type of design project and, while the majority of our work is screen-based, we do need flyers, brochures, direct mail, billboards, print ads and internal materials designed, so print experience is a necessity. Experience in website design, user interface and application design, motion graphics and video is also a big plus. You may also be involved in iOS, Android and Windows Phone app designs and updates as well as our own web applications for business and enterprise customers. There will be opportunities to participate in the concepting of new products, logos and product sites. Your goal will be to make every facet of Code 42 an attractive, informative, user-friendly experience, both internally and publicly.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• BFA or BS in graphic or digital design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating understanding of type and layout and audience
• General knowledge of print production process and preparing files for print
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Keynote and Pages experience also useful)
